It's tourist season.
Just in time for the National Cherry Blossom Festival.

Admittedly, the blossoms are gorgeous. I only have one memory earlier than my memory of the cherry blossoms. I feel a connection to them and I love them.
But what I don't love is how many tourists come to see them.
Today is one of those days that I was a little bit bitter that I don't look more pregnant. I finally got myself a belly band to hold my pants up since I can't zip them anymore, but it was still just 6 days ago that people actually started asking if I were pregnant. I have a friend only 17 weeks along who looks more pregnant than I do.
The problem with not looking obviously pregnant is that people are 100% not understanding. I thought I was going to die, crushed by all those crazy Metro people.
Anyway. Here's hoping that after the festival the tourists will all go away until after I don't have to commute on the Metro two or more times a day.
